Antoni Perez-PochAntoni Perez-Poch is the assistant director of the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE) at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (UPC). He is a professor of Computer Science and Telecommunications at the Barcelona East School of Engineering (EEBE). He is the director of the STEM master’s degree, a postgraduate degree taught at the Fundació Politècnica de Catalunya that provides competence-based teacher training for UPC professors. His research interests are higher education training and quality, microgravity and medical image processing. He has extensive experience in industrial design and advanced electronics projects. He has published more than 50 papers in national and international conferences and peer-reviewed scientific journals, and one patent in aerospace engineering, and has supervised over 40 final theses in industrial engineering and master’s theses in education.
