Noelia Olmedo Torre has a Ph.D Cum Laude PhD in Multimedia Engineering from Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC-BarcelonaTECH) since the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya · BarcelonaTech (2007) and a degree in Telecommunications Engineer since Engineering (1991. Has a). She has two Postdegreepostgraduate degrees: Interactive Multimedia Systems (1995) and University Education in Sciences, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics - STEM (2017). She is a professor since 1999 inat the Graphic Engineering Department of Engineering Presentation (EGE) of the Barcelona East School of Engineering Barcelona East (EEBE - Former , formerly the EUETIB) and Thethe Terrassa School of Industrial, Aerospace and Audiovisual Engineering of Terrassa (ESEIAAT - Former , formerly the EET) in the UPC-BarcelonaTECH. She carries out several subjects of Projects ). She teaches courses on projects and Graphic Engineering graphic engineering and working inworks on the implementation of renewalsrenewable energy projects used for the development of industrial activities and services. She has worked inat the Multimedia Applications and ICTs Laboratory (LAM) in the UPC coordinating different e-learning projects. She is a member of the two research group: groups: Systems Innovation for Engineering Design and Education (INSIDE (Innovació en Sistemes per al Disseny i la Formació a l'Enginyeria) and ) and the Project Design, Sustainability and Communication Research Group (GIIP (Grup de Recerca en Enginyeria de Projectes: Disseny, Sostenibilitat i Comunicació). His). Her research interests focus inare the social aspects of engineering education, innovation in higher education degrees, professional competencies, assessment tool, promoting improvement and tools, the promotion of teaching and learning improvement and, in general, educational innovation whichthat contributes to the quality teaching enhancementquality. She has published more than 30 scientific work, amongworks, including papers in national and international, scientific journals and congressconferences in the field of engineering education;, and is also the author and coauthoror co-author of several books and book chapters of books. Has supervising. She has supervised more than 80 Industrial Engineering Final Projects.final theses in industrial engineering. Since 2015 isshe has been a member of the JOTSE Team Editorial (Journal of Technology and Science Education). Since 2017 she is Academic Secretary of Education’s editorial team. She has been the academic secretary of the Institute of Education Sciences (ICE-UPC).) since 2017.
